# Bavarian Econs

> Bavarian Econs converts classic BMW 2002s into fully electric restomods — handbuilt in Munich, Germany, with 500+ hours of craftsmanship per car. Street-legal (German E-homologation), tested at the Nürburgring, delivered worldwide including the United States. Founded by Colombian brothers Nicolás Navarro (CEO) and Edgar Navarro Soto (CIO). Tagline: "German Engineering. Latin Soul."

Key facts:
- What we build: electric restomods of the classic BMW 2002 (BMW 02 Series, built 1966–1977). Not a kit swap — a full nut-and-bolt restoration around a modern 400V electric drivetrain with CCS fast charging, preserving the original analog character.
- Models: 2002 te (180 HP / 133 kW, 33 kWh battery, 0–100 km/h in 6.2 s, ~200 km range, 1,100 kg) · 2002 tee (250 HP / 184 kW, 45 kWh, 0–100 in 4.5 s) · 2002 Turbo e (wide-body, 250 HP / 184 kW, 45 kWh, 0–100 in 4.5 s, 1,200 kg).
- Coming 2026: E30 Touring e — the BMW E30 Touring, electrified. Limited to 50 units. Waitlist open.
- Charging: CCS fast charge, 80% in ~45 minutes at 50 kW.
- Where: atelier in Munich, Germany. Cars delivered worldwide; US imports handled with the client (classics over 25 years old qualify for US import).
- Validation: development tested at the Nürburgring; shown at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este (2022), Legends of the Autobahn — Monterey Car Week (2023), The Quail (2024). Covered by Top Gear, MotorTrend and Hagerty.
